The Hope Society is one of the societies that was founded in the early 1900s by Kurdish students in Istanbul. Among its founding members were the following Kurdish boys: Khalil Xeyali (Modki), Qadri Cemilpasha (Diyarbekir), Fuat Temo (Wan), Zeki Efendi (Diyarbekir) and Memduh Selim (Wan). The Hope Society of Kurdish Students was established in Istanbul on 27th of Tamuz 1328 (August 9, 1912) and Umer Cemil Pasha was temporarily appointed as the secretary of the Hope Society. According to Qadri Cemil Pasha (Zinar Silopi); He and his friends, with the advice and guidance of Xelil Xeyali, started the work of establishing the Hêvî Association (Kurdish Student Association). The establishment of the Hope Society and its activities have had a great impact on Kurdish youth and students.

of Roji Kurd were published in 1913 under the management of the Hope Association Some important issues and problems have been debated in the pages of this magazine, which continue to be debated today. Hêvî Society, after its establishment, starts publishing Roji Kurd magazine within the scope of the association's goal. Roji Kurd is published once a month in the Kurdish-Turkish language and four numbers have been printed and distributed. The first issue of Roji Kurd magazine was published on June 6, 1329 (1913).
